Dune City – Comprehensive Investment Website on the Baltic Sea

The Dune City website project is a comprehensive solution created for a prestigious apartment complex located on the 10-kilometre spit separating the Baltic Sea from Lake Jamno. As a WordPress developer, I designed a custom theme that not only presents the unique features of the investment but also integrates advanced functionalities enabling dynamic presentation of the offer.

Key Features and Modules

  • Interactive Maps with Geolocation: We implemented a custom map module based on integration with the Google Maps API and the Leaflet.js library, allowing the display of interactive building plans and the entire investment area. Users can filter and sort available apartments by parameters such as area, number of rooms, floor, or price.
  • Dynamic Search and Sorting: A developed search system based on custom fields and taxonomies enables precise matching of offers. The use of AJAX for asynchronous fetching of results ensures that users receive responses in real-time.
  • Integration with External APIs: The website automatically synchronizes apartment availability data and offer updates via REST API. This ensures that information on reservation statuses and new investments is always up-to-date.
  • Advanced Analytical Tools: We implemented a module for monitoring user behavior and generating market reports, allowing investors to track the popularity of specific apartments and analyze price trends.
  • Performance Optimization: The entire system was optimized using caching mechanisms (Redis, Memcached) and content distribution through CDN, ensuring fast loading times even during high traffic.
