Joining the wceu 2026 organizing team
I’m delighted to share that I’m part of the WordCamp Europe 2026 organising team in Kraków, Poland 🇵🇱🎉
The budget team
This year, I’m contributing as a member of the Budget Team (Organisers list), working together with an amazing international group:
- Emma Wager – Budget Team Lead
- Carolina Osório Pinho
- Katarzyna Kimel
- Toze Vasconcelos
- and myself

Our role IN organizing
Our role might not always be visible from the outside, but it’s absolutely critical. We’re responsible for ensuring the numbers make sense so that WordCamp Europe can run smoothly, before, during, and after the event. That means balancing ticket pricing, sponsorship income, production costs, catering, swag, accessibility initiatives, community support, and a lot of “what-if” scenarios.
The local team IN Kraków
At the same time, tremendous respect and crossed fingers 🤞 for Sebastian Miśniakiewicz, who is leading the Local Team, and for everyone involved locally in Kraków. Organising an event of this scale is a massive effort, and it’s great to see how much experience and heart are being put into it. We expect 3,500 people to attend this event in Kraków.
What is WordCamp Europe?
For anyone who doesn’t know it yet: WordCamp Europe is the largest WordPress conference in Europe, bringing together developers, designers, creators, product people, marketers, business owners, contributors, and community members from all over the world. It’s not just about talks – it’s about meeting people, sharing knowledge, contributing back to open source, and building long-term connections.
